Challenge
Simple was rebranding itself to bring is online presence more in line with its human centric stance on finance. This required a new website that captured this and made it easier to update and deploy for more team members. Along with brand hub that provided everything needed for internal and external partnerships.
Approach
With branding, content, and the tone and voice sorted, a modular approach to webpages and their content was used to maintain consistent structure and usage across pages. This would also allow non-developer team members to easily contribute to the content.
Simple.com
The main focus was building the newly redesigned Simple website. I led all development efforts for the relaunch, supported marketing initiatives, partnered with user research for testing, and supported product launches coordinating with the broader engineering and product teams.
Brand Documentation
In an effort to support both internal personnel and external partners, I designed and built a brand documention resource hub. A reference for branding elements, approved imagery and iconography, and downloadable brand toolkit for vendors.
Design System
A modest but effective design system with core page elements, text styles, imagery, illustrations, and iconocgraphy for the Simple brand team to quickly create pages for projects across fast-paced campaigns and product feature launches.
